Obey God Rather Than Mens: A Basic Principle

God is The One who is above all that men can imagine. The One whose immensity of omnipresence no one can grasp, nor hold a monopoly on knowledge. The One whose signs of presence are found wherever there is the fear of God. The One whose exhortation to obey only Him is an invitation to respect those who live their faith in a different way than we do, because God is there too, and manifests himself there equally concretely and powerfully. Un homme d’affaire a pris le pouvoir aux États Unis, et les actes parlent d’eux-mêmes. Le pays est dirigé comme une très grande entreprise qui doit gagner le plus de marcher possibles, éviter au maximum les pertes, et engranger d’énormes sommes d’argent à tout prix, même s’il faille créer une guerre commerciale qui cependant ne signifie pas qu’il n’y a aucune possibilités de négociations. Curiosity is good even if in certain circumstances, it can be called bad by some. But whatever happens, research should not be satisfied with little. Should we stop searching or being “too curious” because some people want us to settle for curiosity without superlatives that suits them? No! Quel héritage voulons-nous transmettre à nos enfants ? La tradition africaine accorde une place importante au respect des ainés. Une valeur essentielle qui ne doit cependant pas être mise en pratique de manière déraisonnée car en effet, quand des jeunes enfants subissent des mutilations des parties génitales, sous l’influence dévastatrice de « certains ainés », on ne peut plus parler du respect d’autrui. La curiosité : Un vilain défaut ?

Une recherche ne doit pas se contenter de peu. Doit-on s’arrêter de chercher ou d’être « trop curieux » parce que certaines personnes veulent que nous nous contentions d’une curiosité sans superlatif qui les arrange ? Ah non ! Par contre, chacun doit connaitre ses limites, et laisser ceux qui ont les moyens d’aller au-delà de continuer le travail, à moins qu’on ait soi-même les moyens d’aller plus loin. Image: pixabay.com
