The Word of God

King Herod heard of Jesus because his name was now known. Some said, "John the Baptist has risen from the dead, so supernatural forces are working in him." Others said, "Its Elijah!" and still others: "He is a prophet as the prophets were." Made aware of the facts, Herod said: “I had John beheaded, but here he is resuscitated. »

You should know that Herod had John the Baptist arrested and kept him chained in prison, for the business of Herodiades, the wife of his brother Philip whom he had married. For John said to Herod, "You have no right to have your brother's wife. »

Herodiades resented him terribly; she wanted to kill him but she couldn't, because Herod respected John: he knew he was a just and upright Man and he protected him. When he listened to her he did not know what else to do, yet he listened willingly.

One day, however, a favourable opportunity presented itself. Herod had given a feast to his ministers, his officers and the notables of Galilee on the occasion of his birthday. The daughter of this Herodiades entered to dance and she captivated Herod as his guests. The king then said to the girl: “Ask me what you want and I will give it to you. » and he made him this oath: « Ask me if you want half of my kingdom, I will give it to you. »

Immediately the girl comes out and says to her mother: “What am I asking? The mother replies: "Jean-Baptiste's head." Quickly she returned to the king and presented her request: "I want you to give me the head of John the Baptist right away." »

The king is very upset about this but he has made an oath and the guests at the banquet are witnesses to it, so he does not want to refuse him. He immediately sends a guard with the order to bring John's head, and the guard goes to behead him in the prison. He brings his head back on a platter and gives it to the girl, and the girl gives it to her mother.

When John's disciples heard of this, they came to collect his remains and placed them in a tomb.

A few lines of thought

Beloved in the Lord, when we ask questions it is not necessarily for you to give us answers. You are free to do so if you wish; but we ask them above all so that in your hearts, families, communities and others, you will continue to meditate on the subject that we have raised. Today again we will ask questions:

First, why is a man willing to give half of all his wealth not to a woman but to a child?

Second, why is a woman who has the ability to change the lives of thousands or even millions of people through the wealth of her “husband” is driven solely by a spirit of revenge?

Third, why is it only the dances inciting debauchery that bring in more money?

Beloved in the Lord, is it not fourthly because of the frantic races towards the facilities that the world offers that we have lost the sense of good? What do we do with the word of God and other teachings related to this word that we listen to?

Sixth, how can you succeed in telling only the truth without fearing for your life?

Finally, why does man often act against his conscience?

L’arbre et ses fruits

L’arbre n’est jamais diffèrent de ses fruits. S’il est bon, ses fruits seront bons ; s’il est mauvais, ses fruits le seront également. Il en est de même pour un enfant. Il vient au monde, grandi, passe l’âge de l’adolescence pour devenir adulte. C’est tous ce qu’il aura appris au cours de son enfance qui fera l’adulte qu’il sera. Sans toutefois négligé le rôle de la communauté et l'impact des décadences de la société dans le devenir d'un individu, nous pensons que c'est surtout au sein de la cellule familiale que se construisent les fondations d'un futur Homme.

Les parents ont le devoir d’apprendre à leurs enfants le vrai sens de la vie en développant en eux un véritable esprit vertueux.  Ils doivent enseigner à leurs enfants la crainte de Dieu. Celui qui craint Dieu sait que s’il fait du tort à son prochain, c’est à Dieu qu’il le fait. 

« La fille de cette Hérodiade » a demandé à sa mère ce qu’elle doit demander parce que le parent est sensé connaitre ce qu'il y a de mieux pour son enfant. Le parent est un des représentant de Dieu sur terre, sensé connaitre la parole de Dieu qu’il a apprise à écouter. Un enfant qui fait une demande à un adulte ou à un ainé, manifeste une vertu d’obéissance et même de confiance. Cette jeune fille était vertueuse ; Mais malheureusement pour elle, sa mère était une mauvaise mère. C’était une sorcière maléfique incrédule et insensible à la parole de Dieu. C’est la raison pour laquelle elle profita de la naïveté de sa fille pour l’initier à la « sorcellerie négative » qu’elle incarne. Dire à une enfant de demander la tête d’une personne s’est initier cet enfant à des choses ténébreuses. Cet enfant sera également une coupeuse de tête parce que sa mère lui a enseigné que coupé des têtes est une bonne chose. Le fruit ne sera jamais diffèrent de l’arbre qui l’a produit. Tant qu’il restera greffé à cet arbre, il demeurera mauvais. 

Conversion of heart

Beloved in the Lord, it is also for this kind of individual that Christ is risen. He is also risen for murderers. Herod was not far from the Truth when he said that John was resurrected. What prevented him from fully entering into this Truth and asking forgiveness for his sins was because he lived with Herodiades. This woman was a bad witch. While the heart of this man (Herod) sought the way of conversion, the presence of this woman (Hérodiades) distanced him from God; the reverse is also true in our societies; there are many women who have a sincere desire to change but the presence of certain men by their side keeps them away from God.

If we're still alive after all the harm we've done, it is because Christ loves us. We must change our hearts. Christ is in love with all murderers who decide to change their lives. He is in love with all those who take the firm resolution not to kill the men of God any more. If there are no more men of God and children of God in this world how are we going to listen and learn to listen to the word of God? It is the will of the anti-Christ that the word of God be no longer proclaimed. He won't make it in the name of Jesus-Christ.

Stop killing men of God. He who assaults and kills the Light who has been mandated by the Lord to bring him to life will be lost. Hope is the joy of all who have the grace to still be alive. We still have the possibility of changing in order to enter or return to the love of God. Just as no one is predestined to eternal salvation, no one is predestined to end up in hell. The choices we make now will talk for us or against us. Let's change our hearts!
