Parole de Dieu

Voici l’histoire de Noé. Noé était un homme juste et droit parmi ses contemporains : Noé marchait avec Dieu. Noé engendra trois fils : Sem, Kam et Japhet. La terre devin mauvaise aux yeux de Dieu : elle était remplie de violence. Dieu regarda la terre : elle était complètement corrompue parce que tous être sur la terre suivait les chemins du mal. Dieu dit alors à Noé : « j’ai décidé la fin de tous les êtres vivants, car ils remplissent la terre de violence. Je vais les supprimer de la terre. Fabrique-toi donc une arche en bois de cyprès ; tu feras des niches dans l’arche et tu l’enduiras de goudron à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur.

The righteous man in the sight of God

The righteous is the one who do not just stay at the level of listening; he act also in order to be in harmony with the source of his existence. His testimony of life makes us understand that being a child of God does not only consist in saying so; it is also necessary to adopt attitudes which effectively reflect what one claims to be.

Noah was not the only man on earth. There were others men whit him; but he was the only one who « walked with God ». The others knew there was a God; but they lived as if He did not exist. It is because of this kind of people that evil spreads over the earth. They lead a bad life and incite other people to make the same choice as them by a life of licentiousness which makes fun of the word of God. It is to correct this kind of misconduct that the Lord uses the righteous. He who is righteous in the Lord is an instrument of renewal. The story of creation and especially that of the renewal of the face of the earth must be taken as proof of God's mercy. Even if it is regrettable that people have lost their lives because of their sins, what is more important is the fact that the Lord chooses people whose testimony of life is a reason for conversion for others. God's children should not rejoice that they are alive and others are dead. Rather, they should be proud that they have been deemed worthy by the Lord to intercede for the world because God takes no pleasure in seeing the sinner die. He wants him to convert and live. 

La demeure de Dieu

En parlant de demeure de Dieu nous parlons d’un lieu digne de recevoir l’Esprit-Saint de Dieu en son sein. Nous chrétien en particulier, qui appartenons à la grande famille des enfants de Dieu, croyons en un Dieu incarné qui s’est fait chair pour demeurer parmi nous afin de nous sauver du péché qui nous maintenait captif. Nous croyons en un Dieu qui a fait de nos corps charnels sa demeure parce qu’il sait que sans lui nous sommes perdus.

La demeure de Dieu n’est plus pour celui qui a revêtu le Christ un lieu éloigné difficile d’accès mais une présence concrète en lui et à proximité de lui. C'est un lieu où vivent et/ou se rassemblent ceux qui ont la crainte de Dieu. Il s’agit de tous lieux où la parole de Dieu est partagée et où les Hommes se pressent d’aller parce qu’ils savent qu’ils vont y rencontrer Dieu. C’est le lieu où nait le désir de conversion; le lieu où l’on prie pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas Dieu. Il s'agit de tout lieu où l’Esprit de Dieu est présent. Un lieu toujours ouvert et toujours disponible. C’est le lieu où on est libre de dire tous à Dieu et être exaucer selon sa Sainte volonté.

Building an arch by proclaiming the word of life

« So make an arch of cypress wood; you will make niches in the ark and you cover it with tar inside and outside » The Lord protect those who fear him because it is from them that he will build a better world. By creating and living in an environment of prayer, we are not only protected, but in addition, on the impulse of the Holy Spirit of God, we act so that others to may be saved for the greater glory of God. In Noah’s day, there was talk of an arch that was to contain seven people and other living beings. God did it because men’s sins, have come to a head. It is because of this that he decided to destroy everything in order to renew the face of the earth. But nowadays, God will no longer destroy the earth because of the sins of others. The one who does not repent, will be the victim of his own sin; but because He does not take pleasure to seeing the sinner die, he himself builds several arches every days to save sinners. Each baptized person is an arch of God. It is the same with men of God, churches, place of worships and others. Contrary to the time of Noah when the number of those who had access to the ark was less, the Spirit of God multiplied the arks in the world so that all those who show a real desire for conversion are saved.
