Divine grace

The word of God

The angel comes to her and say to her: « rejoice, full of grace, the Lord is with you. » Mary was quite disturbed by these words and wondered what this greeting meant.

But the angel said to her: « do not be afraid, Mary! You have found favour with God. You are going to be pregnant and you will give birth to a son whom you will call Jesus’ name. He will be great, and he will be called the son of the Most high, and to him the Lord will give the throne of his father David. He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and his reign will have no end.

The faithfulness of God

God is life. He has always been there and always will be. All that is was created by Him. He is a father who is always present. Even the incessant infidelities of Men have not and never will have the upper hand over the fidelity of His love for Men. God is always present because He does not take pleasure in seeing Men perish. His gaze of mercy is always focused on all those who want to come or return to Him. He is God but He cannot help us without an effort coming from us. The fidelity of God needs the good will of Men not only to get him out of his infidelity but also to help him to remain faithful to his Lord and saviour despite the multiple turpitudes of life. 

 

The projects of Men under cover of God's mercy

The mother of humanity had the grace to carry within her the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Without omitting to specify that God Himself can take the initiative to fill with grace whoever He wants, we say that to be able to benefit from the graces of God, one must be in a state of grace. By acts that glorify the name of the one we have chosen to serve, we must prepare ourselves to receive His graces in order to produce good fruits. Nothing in the world is done without grace for those who believe in Christ as Lord and Saviour. The conversion of sinners is the fruit of the grace to intercede for sinners that the Lord has given to His children. The success of a project is the product of divine grace, just like the end of conflicts and wars. Men will never be able to realize themselves without the grace of God. He who knows that all he is he owes to the grace of God is aware of the fact that his ardour, his determination and all the other virtues which characterize him are emanations of divine grace which will still need divine grace additional to be more prolific.
