Quel mal Jésus nous a-t-il fait?

The word of God

When Herod realized that he had let himself fooled by the magi, he became furious. He send to slaughter all the children of Bethlehem and the surrounding area, all those who were under two years old, according to the details given to him by the magi.

In this way what was said by the prophet Jeremiah came to pass. We heard screams from Rama, we moan and we never stop lamenting. Rachel is mourning her children; they are gone, and she doesn't want to console herself.

La victoire du Christ sur la mort est une vérité de foi sanctifiante qui n’a rien à voir avec nos réalités mondaines paralysantes qui nous rendent esclave du péché. C'est une invitation à choisir la voie de la conversion pour les pécheurs et un encouragement à persévéré dans la voie du salut pour les baptisés. C’est au nom de cet acte d’amour qui traverse le temps et l’espace tout en nous interpelant individuellement que nous ne nous contentons pas seulement de prier le Seigneur de nous rendre jour après jours semblable à Lui, mais qu’il fasse également de même pour vous car nous sommes tous appelé à demeurer avec Lui auprès du Père au terme de notre pèlerinage terrestre.

Perseverance in prayer despite everything

At the end of our earthly existence the Lord will not ask us why are men wicked but rather, why have we stopped thinking of the most despicable and abominable individuals in our prayers. If the work of evangelization depended solely on Men it would have stopped by now. It is the Holy Spirit of God who allows us to continue despite everything to proclaim and put into practice the word of God. Those who have the grace to intercede must continue. Those who have had the grace to be saved must give thanks to God and be new intercessors. Those who choose to break with their bad behaviour must know that by accepting Christ they will never be disappointed in spite of everything. Those who have not yet chosen to break with evil should try to think about it.
